Carolyn uses various materials to create 3D artworks but favours papydur – a French papier-mâché pulp – when building everything from birds , flaming hearts , sheep , landscapes or city scapes. She also works with metals, cast plaster, wire and found objects to assemble her complex visual stories on to plywood.
